The Out of Work Service (OoWS) provides both mentoring and employability support for people who are in recovery from substance misuse and/or suffer from mental ill-health.

We work with employers to offer opportunities such as training, placements, skill development and most importantly employment.

Young Persons Guarantee

The service forms part of the Young Person’s Guarantee to ensure there is no 'lost generation' in Wales. It enrols people aged 16-24 who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).

Individuals aged 25 and older who have not been looking for work or have been unemployed for at least 12 months are also eligible.

Support At Your Own Pace

Our experienced peer mentors have lived experience of recovery and mental health and know the difficulties that come with it, that is why our support plan is built with small steps in mind.
